THOSE WHO RIDE WITH GIANTS is the pseudonym of MJ Callaghan,
a designer and musician based in Sydney, Australia.

Having a musical style of instrumental post-rock, his art has been influenced by other artists such as Caspian, This Will Destroy You, Explosions in the Sky and Mogwai as well as countless film & game scores.

The project began as a desperate move of inspiration and determination, having moved to a new city and being jobless. Prized items were sold in order to acquire recording equipment to begin his personal journey as
THOSE WHO RIDE WITH GIANTS.

The overall concept with the project was to tell a story with each album, a journey in a land that is filled with colossal beings that could be friend or foe and as the listener, you follow a traveller on their journey.
The idea is that each album is a book, and each track title, a chapter in that story.

Forlorn is the third release, succeeding where Numinous left off and complementing where the first release began.
